Virtual Author Talks
We are proud to announce that we have partnered with the Library Speakers Consortium to bring you award-winning authors through free, monthly virtual live-streamed author talks. These discussions from bestselling authors and industry thought leaders are available from the comfort of your home. Library branches may host watch parties for some events.
This partnership is made possible through the generous financial support of the Friends of the Capitola Branch Library.
On Wednesday, May 8, the SCPL Virtual Author Talks kickoff event will feature Santa Cruz’s own Nina Simon, author of Mother-Daughter Murder Night. Our Capitola Branch Library will be hosting a watch party for this virtual author talk event. The virtual talk will begin at 4:00 p.m. PDT.
