| Description: | Neighborhood Services is a Division of the Parks and Community Services Department, established and committed for the purpose of helping strengthen neighborhoods through programs designed to increase communication between residents and city government. Neighborhood Services works in close collaboration with all City departments, local community service agencies, businesses, education and various stakeholders in order to increase community pride, promote civic awareness, participation and overall help improve the quality of life in Watsonville. Realizing that quality of life concerns and issues can be most effectively resolved at the neighborhood level, the City of Watsonville and its elected officials are committed to providing neighborhoods and individuals with the tools to develop their skills and capacities in order to address their own concerns. |
