Description: The Santa Cruz Swing Club is made up of a group of passionate West Coast Swing dancers devoted to promoting West Coast Swing dancing in the Santa Cruz, California area. West Coast Swing (WCS) is a partner dance that evolved from Lindy Hop and done to slower music. The dance is very interpretative and allows for both partners to improvise steps while dancing together. Originally danced to the blues, it is now danced to almost any style of music. Check our website for listing of current classes, events, and places to learn and dance West Coast Swing.

Dances are usually held once month (around the fourth Saturday) at the Mid-County Senior Center on 829 Bay Ave. in Capitola.
