| Description: | The Ben Lomond Fire Protection District is a volunteer department with a Fire Chief, twenty-eight volunteer safety members, one clerical and one public education specialist. Protecting the town of Ben Lomond, California, and surrounding area, the Fire District’s boundaries represent a diverse community with responsibility for commercial, residential and wildland/urban interface. AREAS SERVED: Extends from south Highway 9 to twin bridges toward Felton and north on Highway 9 to Pike Drive towards Brookdale. Quail Hollow Road, to Alba Road, 1 mile from Empire Grade. Serves approximately 7 square miles, 7000 residents. |
| Mission: | It is the mission of the Ben Lomond Fire Protection District to provide life and property protection through fire control, pre-hospital care, fire prevention, code enforcement, public education and emergency management, consistent with prudent utilization of public funds. |
