Description: Provides a variety of emergency material assistance programs providing food, clothing, energy assistance as well as character building for youth and adults. Worship services are in English and Spanish.
Programs: The Salvation Army offers programs to cure hunger: food pantries and meal programs; overcome poverty: short and long-term housing assistance; meal assistance; bill pay assistance; employment assistance through educational resources, career coaching and job placement opportunities; teach kids: homework assistance and counseling, extracurricular activities, art programs; combat addiction; love the elderly: adult day care centers and activities; help disaster survivors: emergency response, recovery and care; provide shelter: emergency shelters, transitional living centers and family service programs.
