Description: | We are a private, non-profit organization developed to monitor and report on the business practices of companies. Each BBB is licensed by the Council of Better Business Bureaus, and governed by its own local Board of Directors. Provides Business Reviews, Charity Reports, Complaint Resolution, Arbitration, Advertising Review Services, Scam Warnings, Trustlink Customer Reviews, an Accredited Business Directory, Auto Line (auto warranty dispute resolution and Lemon Law compliance), a database of online businesses and a resource library with over 100 topics. |
Mission: | BBB’s mission is to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust. We do this by -Setting standards for marketplace trust -Encouraging and supporting best practices by engaging with and educating consumers and businesses -Celebrating marketplace role models -Calling out and addressing substandard marketplace behavior -Creating a community of trustworthy businesses and charities BBB sees trust as a function of two primary factors – integrity and performance.
