Description: The Employment Services Division of the Personnel Department is responsible for the County's recruitment, testing and selection program for County departments. The division provides oversight and guidance to County departments on hiring procedures and protocols. Employment Services is also responsible for recruiting, bilingual proficiency testing, and oversight of decentralized recruitment activities for the Human Services Department and Department of Public Works. The Employment Services Division manages the County's employee transfer, re-employment and recall programs. This division is also responsible for placement of displaced or laid off County employees.
