| Description: | Watsonville Office: 12 Carr Street Watsonville, CA 95076 Phone: 831-722-6708 Hours of Operation: M-Th, 10-2 and by appointment The Literacy Program serves adult learners who want to speak, read and write English. Our volunteers range from 20-somethings to retired professionals who want the satisfaction of teaching a motivated learner. Tutors meet with students one-on-one, or in small groups. Meetings are held once or twice a week. Students are motivated adult learners. The program introduces students and tutors, provides learning materials and meeting locations around the county. No teaching or foreign language experience required. FEES: no fee for students; materials fee for volunteer tutors |

| Volunteer Info: | Join the Literacy Program for a free one-hour orientation to learn more about becoming a tutor to a motivated adult learner.
