Shall an Ordinance submitted by the Salsipuedes Fire Protection District Board of Directors to the voters of the Salsipuedes Fire Protection District of Santa Cruz County be approved in order to change the district appropriations limit and provide continued funding for fire protection, prevention, and other public services rendered by the district under the Fire Protection District Law of 1987, as amended (Health and Safety Code Section 13800 and following,) for the benefit of the residents of the Salsipuedes Fire Protection District.?

Earthquake Recovery.

Shall the County of Santa Cruz be authorized to issue bonds in the form of Certificates of Participation or other comparable financing bonds in the amount not to exceed thirty-three million five hundred thousand dollars ($33,500,000) to be paid over a maximum period of six (6) years, with the proceeds to be used for capital improvement and public projects for the general good of Santa Cruz County and its citizens; shall the ordinance be adopted to levy a one-half of one percent (1/2 of 1%) transaction and use tax for such capital improvement and public projects for a maximum period of six (6) years, with the tax to be imposed on the sales price of tangible property sold within Santa Cruz County or purchased for storage, use or other consumption within Santa Cruz County; and shall the contract be approved which provides for a sharing of the sales tax revenues between the County of Santa Cruz and each city located within Santa Cruz County whose voters approve the contract?
