Book and Material Donations

Patrons wishing to donate up to 2 bags or boxes of books in person can do so at the following locations:

• Aptos Branch Library
• Scotts Valley Branch Library
• Friends of the Capitola Library Bookstore at the Capitola Mall

Patrons with more than 2 bags or boxes of books can schedule a meetup or a free at-home pickup with any of the following chapters of the Friends of the Library:

• Friends of the Capitola Library (or email Toni at lilyjustine65@gmail.com)
• Friends of the Scotts Valley Library
• Felton Library Friends (email feltonlibraryfriends@gmail.com)
• Friends of the Boulder Creek Library (email libraryfriendskari@gmail.com)

Donations may include clean, lightly-used books, foreign language textbooks, CDs, and DVDs. The Bookstore will also accept games and puzzles. The following items cannot be accepted for donation: encyclopedias, magazines, computer books, textbooks, music cassettes, or VHS tapes.
