| Description: | The Grower Shipper Association Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides education and information on the agriculture industry as well as offering innovative programs to our community. We believe better decisions and policies will come from a public and community leadership that is better informed as to issues faced by the ag industry combined with an understanding as to how the industry really works. We share a deep commitment to our communities and want to give back to all who have been so supportive of our industry. We offer scholarships and leadership programs was well as on-going philanthropic activities to benefit our community. |

| Programs: | Greater Vision: A annual education event of public forums featuring speakers and panel discussions from community members, academic researchers, elected officials, public agencies, and agricultural representatives. More Produce in Schools: A proactive program focused on providing healthy produce to our schools by working with local food service directors. Ag Against Hunger: A community-based program that organizes and partners with local growers and shippers to bring the community together, and further Ag Education and Childhood Nutrition by gleaning surplus fruits and vegetables and distributing them to our food banks locally in the Tri County area of the Central Coast. |
