| Description: | Composed of Music faculty representatives, alumni, and members of the Santa Cruz community, the Opera Circle members share a passion for opera, a desire to support the growth and development of young artists, and a willingness to serve as advocates and proponents of the program within the university and the community at large. |
| Mission: | The mission of the UCSC Opera Circle is to build awareness and support for the Opera Program and assist in its long-term development and growth. |
| Programs: | Occasional receptions and gatherings for donors and program participants; group participation in attending opera presentations. |
| Meetings: | The group meets monthly during the school year. |
| Volunteer Info: | We are always looking for new people to join us in supporting the opera program at UCSC. If you have attended an opera performance at the university and would like to help the program and meet the inspiring student performers, please join us. |
