Description: The Santa Cruz County Employer Advisory Council (EAC) is comprised of employer representatives conducting businesses throughout the County. EACs were developed to foster a stronger partnership between the California Employment Development Department (EDD) and the business community.

The Santa Cruz County EAC is one of more than 50 similar organizations throughout California, all networking at the state level under the umbrella organization, the California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC). While the Santa Cruz County EAC functions at the local level by providing educational business seminars, the CEAC tackles state and federal employment issues, communicates with legislative representative and gains grassroots support on legislative issues.
Mission: The Santa Cruz County EAC is committed to assisting employers in conducting business more effectively and efficiently, providing information on employment-related issues and promoting stronger relationships between EDD and the business community.
