| Description: | Salud focuses on providing cost-effective, high quality primary health care to the underserved low-income communities, in the Monterey Bay area, primarily Santa Cruz County and North Monterey County. Our clinics are staffed by a team of health care professionals who work together to guide your care. Our professional staff includes physicians, dentists, optometrist, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered dental assistants and registered dietitians. All Salud practitioners provide the highest quality care. We emphasize continuous quality improvement and encourage maximum continuing medical education to ensure best practices in all areas. LANGUAGES OTHER THAN ENGLISH: Our staff is bilingual in English and Spanish, and various staff members also speak French, Tagalog and I-Kiribati. We have a Mixteco interpreter on staff, and can also call upon medical translators in many more languages. ELIGIBILITY: Signed statement verifying income necessary. Proof of insurance eligibility required. Call for appointments. Walk-ins accepted. FEES: Sliding scale. Medi-Cal, Medicare, CHDP, private insurance, military insurance and payment plans accepted. |
