Description: | Do you want to make a difference in our community? YouthServe is dedicated to connecting youth, ages 11-17, with rewarding volunteer projects across the Santa Cruz County. Our aim is to connect local youth who have a passion to help those in need with meaningful opportunities to do so. Whether you have an hour to give or would like to dedicate a year to bettering your community. There’s work to do and we can’t do it without you! Make new friends and join fellow teens who want to contribute their time and talent to affect local change. |
Programs: | Volunteering gives you the opportunity to affect positive change while developing skills to find a job, get into college, complete your school service requirements, and make a difference in the lives of others. Together we take actions that address real community needs. We tackle issues like literacy, animal welfare, and access to technology. |
Volunteer Info: | YouthSERVE is a member of Cyber Seniors and is now offering remote tech support to seniors. You can join as a volunteer and be connected to the tools you need to offer support to a senior. There is a required online training for volunteers. Please contact: Malia, ys@scvolunteercenter.org, for more information. |
