Programs, often offered by local billiards clubs, that provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy billiards, pool or snooker, table games which involve using a cue stick to knock one ball into another or into pockets on the side of the table. Billiards clubs and other recreational billiards programs are often organized into leagues which play one another in organized tournaments.
