Organizations that are actively seeking individuals with a valid driver's license and current insurance who are willing, on a voluntary basis without remuneration, to make short trips to purchase groceries, pick up prescriptions, withdraw or deposit money in the bank, drop or retrieve laundry and do other small tasks for people who have disabilities and frail elderly individuals who cannot leave their homes or are otherwise unable to perform these tasks for themselves. Also included are volunteer opportunities in markets or similar establishments for people who are willing to deliver groceries to homes of frail elderly individuals or people with disabilities who are unable to go out and shop on their own behalf, and volunteer positions in organizations who have a need for couriers or people to run other types of errands.
