| Description: | The Fish and Wildlife Advisory Commission advises the board of supervisors on any matters pertaining to fish and game in the county, including the natural habitat, wildlife, and environment in general. The Commission also makes recommendations, consistent with the policies and regulations of the California Department of Fish and Game, to the board of supervisors concerning expenditures from the county fish and game propagation fund, such fund created by Fish and Game Code Sections 13003(b) and 13100, for the propagation and conservation of fish and game in the county. ELIGIBILITY: Commission members are appointed by members of the Board of Supervisors (2 from each Supervisor, 5 districts, 10 commissioners total). |
