| Description: | The Scotts Valley Fire District provides emergency response to all fires, medical calls and vehicle accidents within the District. We have 24 line firefighting personnel. They work 48 hour shifts on a rotational basis. The district staffs 2 paramedic engine companies.The district also provides fire protection planning and fire prevention services, as well as disaster response and planning. AREAS SERVED:The actual fire district boundries are from the Santa Cruz City Limits in the south, to Laurel Road in the north. FEES: Inspection Permit Fee. |
| Programs: | The Scotts Valley Fire District offers CPR classes to the Public on a quarterly basis at no charge. They also offer private CPR training for businesses and/or other community groups. For more information call (831) 438-0211 or email acortes@scottsvalleyfire.com The Scotts Valley Fire District is pleased to provide disaster preparedness training for your community or business group. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program is a 20 hour disaster preparedness course designed for business and community organizations.
