Women's History Month - Mes de la mujer
In March, we welcome the new season of Spring and celebrate Women's History Month. During this time, we honor the significant contributions made by women to society. Below are some programs and events taking place in celebration of Women's History Month. These events recognize the challenges women face and celebrate the incredible achievements of women in our community and across the world.
En marzo damos la bienvenida a la nueva temporada de Primavera y celebramos el Mes de la Mujer. Durante este tiempo, hacemos honor a las importantes contribuciones realizadas por las mujeres a la sociedad. A continuación se muestran algunos programas y eventos que se llevarán a cabo como parte de la celebración del mes de la mujer. Strait Lace - Author Talk with Rosemary Hayward
Saturday, March 8th, 2025 | 2:00-4:00 pm | Scotts Valley Branch Library
Local author Rosemary Hayward joins us to discuss her new historical novel Strait Lace, which delves into the women's Suffragette movement in England in the early 1900s. Light refreshments will be provided. Registration is recommended to help us plan refreshments, but not required.
