Library Materials for Persons with Hearing Disabilities

Closed-caption DVDs

Closed-caption DVDs transcribe the dialog on the screen. These items may be borrowed from the Library by any person with a Santa Cruz Public Libraries card. Approximately 8,000 closed-caption DVDs are available, including more than 800 DVDs for children.

Search the Library's Catalog

To limit your search to a specific author, title, or subject:

• Connect to the online catalog
• Type in the search box video recordings for the hearing impaired and include either the author or performer, title or subject.
• On the search results page there will be options on the left hand side to refine your results.
